SAFETY FLOORING

Safety Flooring

Safety flooring, or slip resistant vinyl sheet as it’s also known, is used in hi slip risk areas, where spillage is likely, or wet at all times with barefoot traffic. These can be toilets, shower rooms (wetrooms), classrooms, kitchens, ramps etc. They are suitable for all environments, whether it be
Schools, Hospitals, Doctors Surgeries, Care Homes, Leisure Centres or any other Commercial Premises. There are varying levels of slip resistance, and different thicknesses of safety flooring depending on the potential wear of the area. Whether these areas are likely to be subject to occasional spillage, or total saturation and barefoot traffic, ie swimming pool surrounds and walk-in showers, there is a product designed for that use. Commonly it is cove formed at the perimeter and finished to a PVC capping strip, but can be also be laid with a variety of PVC skirting options or flat laid to skirting. Some of these vinyl's also have good chemical resistance. Our main suppliers of safety flooring are-

 Altro
 Polyflor
 Gerflor
 Forbo
 Tarket
